Hello sweet readers* I've been recovering these days and i'm happy to say i feel better. My birthday was a very calm day because i couldn't go anywhere and needed to rest. I had just my closest friends and family and it turned out to be a special day as i wished it was. Thank you all for the kind and adorable comments, they all mean a lot to me.
To catch up with the blogging i've decided to do another "Beauty tips" article. You all know i'm a fan of natural beauty tips, but we don't always have the time to do all those steps at home, and mix all the ingredients, so i also use some products i buy at Body Shop. I love their products, the quality and their concerns with nature, animals and natural products and compared to other brands, they are not expensive at all. My favorite product at the moment is the Shea Shower Cream and Body Butter. I have very dry skin and this is perfect to hydrate because it doesn't have any soap. It's very soft and the smell is incredible! It remindes my of Middle East, spices and misterious places. It's a sweet smell but not too much.
Another perfect product for sensitive and dry skin is this cleanser. It's the only product that doens't give me a skin allergy when i need to take out the makeup. Its odour and colour free so it does not have any artificial additives. It's a very natural product and due to be preservative free, it only lasts more or less 6 months, unlike other products that last 12 months or so.
I also recommend this oil. I always have it "just in case". It's perfect for many reasons - you can use it to massage, but also to hydrate the body skin or even the hair if you have it very dry. I always have dry hair, but for all of you who don't, at least is good as an after-sun product for skin and hair. It is VERY oily, so use just a few drops. The smell is incredible, but i know people who feel it is too strong so, is a matter of personal taste. I advise everyone to smell and try a few drops on the hand before buying - it is a good product but is useless if you feel uncomfortable with the fragrance!
Well, this is a lip balm and it helps a good cause as well. If i remember (i bought mine more than a year ago), by buying this, we are helping to contribute to the AIDS research. Body Shop often has products with this kind of purpose and usually they are actually great products. This one, for instance, has a very comfortable touch and feels very good in the lips. The smell is between strawberry and raspberry.
This one is the only product in this list i haven't tried myself, but everyone i know who did thinks is a miracle for the eyes. You all know i have my potatoe trick for the dark circles and puffy eyes, but this seems to be a more practical solution in a daily basis. The general opinion is that is very refreshing, smooth and not oily and sticky, perfect for tired eyes, and not expensive at all! (Yes i have to buy one for me ^^)
The last product i wanted to enhance in this post is this last lip balm. Not from Body Shop, i believe many of you already know Carmex, also known as the miracle balm for extremely chapped lips. It's perfect for the cold weather, but i love it anyway. Unlike the other lip balm i've recommended, this one kind of burns a lot the moment you put it on. But don't worry, it's just temporary and believe me, it IS a miracle for the lips, and it's very fresh :)
All of these are tips for you all to feel beautiful and cared, even without makeup. In art and in life, a painting is more beautiful if the canvas is well prepared
